Blackened M81 Maduro to the Core is a bold, full-bodied cigar from Drew Estate, created in collaboration with Metallica as part of the Blackened cigar line. True to its name, M81 is rolled entirely with maduro tobaccos: wrapper, binder, and filler, resulting in a cigar that emphasizes depth, richness, and intensity from start to finish.

The cigar features a dark Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, chosen for its naturally robust character and texture. Beneath it is a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a blend of Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania Broadleaf long-fillers, creating a dense, powerful core. The blend is designed to deliver weight and structure while maintaining balance, allowing the darker tobaccos to express themselves fully without becoming harsh.

Inspired by Metallica’s song “Blackened,” M81 reflects the band’s heavy, unapologetic identity through its construction and profile. It is the foundation of the Blackened cigar lineup and represents the darkest, most concentrated expression of the series.
